ABC.ED programme is a compendium of books, handbooks, workbooks, tools, workshops and other materials intended for use in educational settings or at home. It's aim is to provide educators and parents with useful materials and tools which can help children and adolescents to develop key cocial and personal skills and competencies. ABC.ED programme was developed and started in 2007 by dr. Kristijan Musek Lešnik, a psychologist and educational expert.

With more than 20 years of experience in education and management, Dr. Kristijan Musek Lešnik is one of the leading educational experts in Slovenia. Author and/or co-author of more than 50 books, handbooks and workbooks for educational professionals was appointed to major expert bodies in Slovenia. He served as president of the National testing committee, and a memeber of the National board of education in Slovenia*. He was also appointed chair of the Comittee on special education within the National board of education, and appointed member of the Committee on elementary education within the National board of education.

Co-author of many materials and tools in the ABC.ED program is dr. Petra Lesnik Musek. One of the leading Slovene experts in Developmental and Child Psychology, and a specialist in Clinical Psychology works at Department of Pediatric neurology at the University Children’s Hospital University Medical Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She started her work with children and families after 10 years of extensive research and teaching work at the University of Ljubljana.
